I have recently put my support behind the innovative and important theatre production Marooned. The Wolves Theatre Company, through theatre, have developed a refreshingly creative appraoch to starting the conversation about Suicide. They manage to deliver a message that is as important as it is confronting whilst keeping the production both creative and relatable.
To give you a preview of what the story is about; Four souls are Marooned in a room in the afterlife. They have no connection other than they have all tried but failed to take their own lives. They don’t know how they survived but as time passes they begin to yearn to go home and fear that they won’t. A fear and a want that manifests into an insatiable hunger to live. But despite this hunger they are still Marooned.
